Title

Wireless connections drop, there is unstable connectivity and the "Previous authentication no longer valid" and "Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS" error messages display on the Wireless ISR

Core Issue A customer uses the Wireless Integrated Services Router (ISR) and the wireless connection drops the wireless link due to interference on that channel.
Resolution

The error messages Previous authentication no longer valid and Disassociated because sending station is leaving (or has left) BSS point towards a radio frequency (RF) issue. You can try to set the wireless interface to run on a different channel such as channel 1 (2412). This is a quick way to try and avoid possible interference.

It is also observed that there are some buffer failures. This is because of a bug in Cisco IOS® Software Release 12.4(4)T and 12.4(6)T. It is highly recommended that you upgrade to Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4(6)T2  from Cisco Download as this release is trusted as a stable version to run on the ISRs.
