| Title |
In the Cisco CallManager subscriber, the Event Viewer reports the kErrorNotCDRPrimary-InsertCDR service is being run on a server that is not the CDR primary CDR Insert error |
| Core Issue |
Cisco Call Detail Record (CDR) Insert service inserts the records into the configured CDR database. The CDR Insert service should be running on the Publisher only. This error occurs because the CDR Insert service is running on the Subscriber also. |
| Resolution |
To resolve this issue, stop the CDR insert service running on the Subscriber by performing these steps:
- In the Cisco CallManager Admin page select Application > Cisco
CallManager serviceability.
- In the Cisco CallManager Serviceability window, select Tools > Service
Activation.
- Select the Subscriber server, uncheck Cisco CDR Insert, and click Update
.
For more information on service considerations in Cisco CallManager, refer to the Service Considerations section of Service Activation. |
